The latest edition of the Finance Career Days took place on 17-18 September and attracted the highest number of companies since the event began. The roll-call of companies, 50% of whom were international and 76% represented the financial services industry, included the likes of BlackRock, Bloomberg, Citi, EY, ICAP, KPMG, Morgan Stanley, Nomura, PwC, Société Générale and RBS.

Recruiters and alumni tell us all about the event and EDHEC students:

Some 800 students came to meet potential employers, while 16 alumni explained their professions and offered internship and job opportunities during Alumni Spotlights. All in all, the Finance Career Days featured a programme of 45 activities comprising corporate presentations, workshops and networking events, along with two virtual corporate presentations by BNP Paribas Paris and BNP Paribas APAC.

Alumni Spotlights on the themes of corporate finance, financial markets, careers in trading, careers in asset management, careers in industry and investment management were sponsored by recruiters: Barclays, Crédit Agricole, Deutsche Bank, RBS, Swiss Life, Fidelity, Akuo Energy and Blackrock. This year was also notable for the presence of new firms like Amazon, Barclays, Mars, McGraw-Hill Financial and Tradition.

“The event was perfectly organised and we were delighted to be welcomed so well on campus”, Siegrid Tartanson, France Talent Acquisition Manager, Faurecia Group (Paris)
“Congratulations for the organisation of this event which went off very smoothly”, Elodie Balcon, School Relations Manager, Mazars (Paris)
“I was sorry to leave the Nice campus… The event was a big success as always.” Dominique Shaeffer, Partnerships & School Relations Manager, Natixis (Paris)

“These two days enabled the EDHEC Career Centre to accomplish one of its objectives: that of bringing companies and students together so they can get to know each other, understand their mutual needs, and learn about career aspirations and competitive selection processes… And all this, within an event that can be customised to meet the requirements and expectations of recruiters and candidates by offering different levels of formal and informal exchange. We could not host the Finance Career Days without the trust and support of our corporate partners and recruiters“

, Fernanda Diaz, Career Centre Director.
